FDSJ

The Forum for Democracy and Social Justice (FDSJ) was constituted in the college in accordance with the directions and guidelines of the Institute of Parliamentary Affairs (INPA)- Kerala Government and Kannur University. The Forum aims to promote democratic values, parliamentary awareness, responsible citizenship, constitutional values and social justice among students. FDSJ is an initiative of the Institute of Parliamentary Affairs intended to strengthen the roots of parliamentary democracy by creating greater awareness among the younger generation about democratic values and responsible citizenship. The Forum provides students with opportunities to understand and experience democratic and parliamentary processes through activities such as Model Parliament, debates, seminars, discussions, quizzes, competitions, Constitution Day programmes and awareness activities on democracy and social justice. Through these initiatives, FDSJ seeks to develop informed, responsible, socially committed and democratically conscious citizens capable of contributing effectively to society and the strengthening of parliamentary democracy.
