Santwanam - A visit to old age home

On 26th July 2018, the second year B.Com students and two faculties of the Department Ms. Jasna P. and Ms. Sreya R. visited an orphanage near Payyavoor ‘Teresa Bhavan’. It was a nice experience for the students. Some students presented cultural programmes for the inmates. On that date, teachers and students had lunch with them. The inmates shared their life stories and experiences in the ‘Bhavan’. It was an emotional experience to our students, teachers and the inmates in that place.

1.Co-Help

Department started a mutual support program named “Co-Help”.Department teachers are the members and they are contributing a fixed amount monthly to financially help the poor and differently abled students.

2.Food Fest

The Department of Commerce organise food fest from 2016 onwards.Student made variety food items in their own home and sold their product at reasonable price in the exhibition . The fund raised by the students from food fest utilised for charity purpose.This practice helped to improve the skill development of the students.
