Santwanam-A visit to old age home
Santwanam an old age home visit activity was designed by Department of commerce, S.E.S College,Sreekandapuram to connect with the community.The main aim of this activity was to create a humanitarian consideration among the students.
On 21st January 2016 first year B.Com students visited “Karunalayam old age home” Chemperi under the guidance of Head of the Department Mr.Sajeesh T J and Ms.Jasna P. handed over rice, fruits and sweets. Students presented cultural programmes for the inmates. The inmates shared their stories and gave advice to students.
A class on online trading in stock market
The department of Commerce S.E.S college Sreekandapuram arranged a class on “Online trading in stock market” for the plus two students of Government Higher Secondary School Sreekandapuram on 26th February 2016. Experience in the practical application of online trading was the main objective of this programme. Mr.Shanavas N.M., Assistant professor, P.G Department of Commerce, Sir Syed College,Taliparamba was the resource person. He presented the theoretical background of online trading in the stock market and also handled practical sessions. Students of Government Higher Secondary School sreekandapuram actively participated in the class.
Trans Action 2016-Commerce Exhibition
Department of Commerce conducted a commerce exhibition and food fest on 26th February 2016.Programme inaugurated by S.E.S College Manager Mr. Vinil Varghese.Following were the attraction of the programme
- Exhibition of commerce related still models.
- Exhibition of chart relating to successful entrepreneurs.
- Exhibition of coins of different countries.
- Exhibition of still photos prepared by final year students.
- Exhibition and sale of variety food items.
